BRC 'A' Grade site
We are proud to announce that we acheived 'A' grade status at the Global Standard for Food Safety (Issue 5) at our last audit in February 2010.
BQAP
Our memebership number of the British Quality Assured Pork standard is no: 58 and is renewable each July. We are subject to an annual visit and one unannounced visit each year. Standards cover Welfare and Traceability.
ABM
Assured British Meat covers welfare and traceability for both Beef and Lamb. Membership of this standard allows us to offer Beef & Lamb under the EBLEX banner.
Organic
We carry out slaughter for those Organic Farmers who need to have stock killed in an approved abattoir.
Freedom Food
A scheme run by the RSPCA to ensure high standards of welfare during the slaughter process. We have been in the scheme for a number of years.
Beef Labelling
Annual inspection by SAI Global ensures that all our beef products are labelled in accordance with legal requirements and our claims are verified.
Traceability
From Farm to Fork. We can verify where our animals come from with full traceability to farm of origin.
